I wish “grownup” Halloween was like Halloween in college – where Halloween turns into a week-long event and every day is an excuse to go to a different party and wear a different costume. Sadly, this year wasn’t like that. But that’s not to say that I didn’t have a good “Halloween week.”
The last few days of this week were busy with research and content creation. I’m working on putting together a press kit for the Intel Newsroom right now. This is the first Intel press kit that I’m going to be able to “own” (mostly all on my own) from start to finish, so I’m pretty excited. I went over the details with my managers, and it looks like all that is left is filling in a few holes, getting approval from the Intel higher powers, and tracking down/ creating some multimedia. This week I’ll be putting the finishing touches on the kit and hopefully it’ll be able to go live within the next week. I’ll keep you guys updated!
Anyway, other than that it’s been a pretty uneventful week. After all the Halloween decorating that went on at my apartment this month (in case you haven’t seen you decorations, you can here), my boyfriend felt it was only fitting to have a few people over to celebrate the spooky holiday last night, which was fun.
My boyfriend dressed as Dexter (our very favorite serial killer!) and I dressed up as (SPOILER ALERT!!!) his wife Rita (the bloody, dead version from the 4th season) <—— See photo on left (yes, we meant to look creepy). We thought we were pretty clever. Except now there’s fake blood all over the apartment and I don’t quite know how I’m going to get it all cleaned up. Worth it? You be the judge.
